In the period from 14 to 16 June 2023, representatives of the Srebrenica Memorial Center visited the Youth Initiative for Human Rights - Croatia as part of the exchange program.
Their visit is a continuation of the program of exchange of good practices during which the Youth Initiative for Human Rights visited Srebrenica in March 2023.
During their stay, we exchanged experiences of working in the field of dealing with the past, including youth work and the challenges of evaluating the work of civil society organizations.
We are particularly pleased that representatives of the Srebrenica Memorial Center met with the YIHR Activist Network and presented their work. Focusing on archiving, oral testimony documentation, permanent and traveling exhibitions, cooperation with schools and monitoring genocide denial, the Srebrenica Memorial Centre makes an invaluable contribution to the process of dealing with the past.
