Our activist Aurora Rakić won the "Nino Ćatić" award

On the eve of the 28th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, the awarding of the "Nino Ćatić" journalistic award was held for works that significantly contributed to reporting on the topic in question.

The "Nino Ćatić" award is awarded in five categories: Radio Report, Written Text, Television Report, Blog and Photography, and this year's theme is ‘Crime and Punishment: The Genocide in Srebrenica must not be denied and forgotten’.

Mirza Skenderagić won the award for the radio report, and Sabina Mehmedović for the written text. The award for the television report was awarded to Nataša Tadić, and for the blog to Emir Bektić, while Armin Durgut received the award in the category Photography.

In addition to these main awards, special awards were also given to Federalna.ba and Adnan Jašarspahić, as well as special recognitions to Ivo Martinović, Ibra Fahiragić, Mirsad Mustafić and Aurora Rakić for their contributions in promoting the truth about the genocide in Srebrenica, who emphasized that ‘we must fight together for truth, justice and commemoration for all murdered, missing, and surviving victims of the genocide in Srebrenica’.

This journalistic award has been organized for the past four years by the association "Be a journalist" from Tuzla with the support of the BiH Presidency and the Federal Ministry of Refugees and Displaced Persons.
